Top 10 Highest Partnerships in ODI

Cricket is a game of partnerships. A good partnership makes or breaks the game. It is what gives stability and, later, momentum to the scoring. In this article, we are going to talk about some of the major partnerships in ODI cricket. It is unbelievable how scoring rates have changed over the years and how even partnerships are crossing the 350-run mark as the top two partnerships in this list would suggest.

Here are the top 10 partnerships in ODIs.

* – Unbroken

The top two partnerships belong to the West Indians. India and Sri Lanka also feature twice on this list, whereas Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia and South Africa feature at least once. All the major subcontinent cricket teams are included in this list. Rahul Dravid and Upul Tharanga are the only batsmen featuring twice. All partnerships except for two of them – one each from Sri Lanka and South Africa – have happened in the first innings. Barring a couple of Indian partnerships, all others were formed in the 21st century.

Let us discover more details about teams and players involved in the legendary partnerships.
