In this article, we are going to look at the top 10 players with the most T20I appearances. Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik leads the pack. Malik made his T20 debut in 2006 and is yet to retire from T20 internationals and could feature in the next ICC World T20.

p>The record for most T20I matches played is currently held by Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik who has featured in 114 matches and scored 2321 runs at 31.36 with 8 fifties, including his highest score of 75. He has also taken 28 wickets at 23.53 with the best bowling figures of 2 wickets for 7 runs. Malik recorded his highest score of 75, including 8 fours and 2 sixes, in the third game of a series against England in the UAE on 30 November 2015. Incidentally, in reply to England’s 154/8, Pakistan made 154/7. England won the tied match in a one-over eliminator. Malik’s best bowling figures of 2 wickets for 7 runs came in a match against Bangladesh played in Dhaka on 29 November 2011. Batting first, Pakistan made 135/7 before restricting Bangladesh to a score of 85 for 9.

Batting first, India made 260/5 thanks to Sharma’s knock. In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 172.
