Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians Match Details

Delhi Capitals will take on defending champions Mumbai Indians in match 13 of the IPL 2021 at Chennai’s Chidambaram Stadium on 20 April. In this article, we present our DC vs MI Dream11 prediction.

Team Delhi Capitals Reportp>In the match versus MI, DC are likely to go with the winning combination of 11 players who helped them beat CSK in their first match of the competition: Shaw, Dhawan, Pant, Stoinis, Hetmyer, Rahane, Woakes, Tom Curran, R Ashwin, A Mishra, Avesh Khan. Team Mumbai Indians Reportp>MI are unlikely to make any changes to the eleven that beat KKR on 13 April: Sharma, De Kock, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Marco Jansen, R Chahar, Bumrah, Boult. Dream11 Fantasy Teamh3>Wicket-keepers

We have chosen Pant who has been very consistent with the bat since the India tour of Australia. We have chosen to ignore De Kock who, while remaining one of the best in the business, has not been as consistent as Pant.

Batsmenp>We have picked four batsmen including three of the four openers who will be on display on 20 April. We have chosen both of DC’s openers, Shaw and Dhawan, whose brilliant century partnership against CSK is still fresh in collective memory. Sharma, who came good against KKR on 13 April, remains one of the most feared batsmen in white-ball cricket and merits a place in our dream 11. For the 4th place, we did not have to look further than Suryakumar Yadav, one of the most explosive T20I middle-order batsmen, whose consistency has been astounding.

All-rounders

Both Hardik Pandya and Marcus Stoinis are automatic choices for our all-rounder spots, especially as they are sufficiently high up in the batting order to make an impression with the bat. While Stoinis has been bowling a lot, Hardik is yet to resume bowling a full quota. But we expect that to happen sooner than later. Krunal Pandya has made an impression with both bat and ball whenever he had the opportunity. Particularly, against KRK, he made useful runs and dried up the KRK batsmen’s scoring rate with dot balls.

Bo

Bowlers

trong>Boult and Bumrah will walk into any T20I team on the planet. They are arguably the most feared pair of bowlers in the IPL as they proved against KRK who imploded in the death overs after being ahead of the asking rate for much of their innings on 13 April. For the third bowling spot, we have gone with the surprise packet of DC’s first game against CSK: Avesh Khan.

Capta

Captain and Vice-captain

ng>Our captain must be Pant: his wicket-keeping is a valuable addition to his undoubted batting prowess. For the vice-captaincy, we have chosen Stoinis who we believe will shine with both bat and ball as he has done so often in the past.

Our D

Our Dream 11

ng>Our Dream 11 consists of the following players: Shaw, Dhawan, Sharma, Yadav, Hardik, Stoinis, Krunal, Pant, Bumrah, Boult, Khan.
