Ainsley Ndlovu is a Bulawayo-born Zimbabwean slow left-arm orthodox bowler. Ndlovu plays for Matabeleland Tuskers in domestic cricket. He finally caught the national selectors’ attention after an outstanding 2019 season. Ndlovu took 9 wickets in 2 games of Logan Cup, a domestic first-class tournament, at an average of 22.66 and an economy rate of 3.30. He also took 6 wickets in 6 games of the Pro-50 tournament the same season at an average of 31.33 and an economy of 4.27.

Ndlovu made his ODI debut against the Netherlands on 19 June 2019 and became the 26th player to take a first-ball wicket by dismissing the Dutch debutant Tobias Visee. Ndlovu was given his Test debut against Sri Lanka in January 2020 in which he went wicketless, giving 107 runs in 28 overs. He took 2 wickets in his second Test against Bangladesh, breaking the important partnership of Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim in the process.
