The Barbadian is just 22 years of age but is already in and around the West Indian team across all three formats.

Holder was just 17 years old when he made his List A debut, playing for Barbados against the Leeward Islands in the Regional Super50 Competition.

Two years later, Chemar Holder forced his way into the Barbados team in both one-day cricket and 4-day competition.

He has gone on to play 8 first-class matches for Barbados since his debut back in 2018, taking 25 wickets at an average of just over 30.

Holder is equally dangerous with the white ball and has taken 26 wickets in 18 List A fixtures for Barbados.

In 2019, he was handed his Barbadian T20 debut in the Caribbean Premier League and he once again impressed everyone with the ball in his hand.

The West Indies’ tour of England was delayed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning Holder missed out on a spot in the side.

Nevertheless, he looks to have a bright future ahead of him and he has agreed to join St Lucia Zouks for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League.
