Chetan Sakariya has been one of the promising bowlers coming through the ranks in Indian domestic cricket. The left-arm pace bowler was born in 1998 in a village named Vartej, Bhavnagar which is about 180 km from Rajkot in Gujarat. He represents Saurashtra in domestic cricket in India. It was Sheldon Jackson who helped him get through the tough days initially. Jackson bought Sakariya a new phone and a new pair of shoes which helped the left-arm pacer go to the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai.
