ODI

In 4 ODIs, Tremain has taken 7 wickets at 36.42, with the best bowling figures of 3/64. He has also scored 23 runs at 23.00.

Chris Tremain achieved his best ODI bowling figures in the 5th match of a series on the Australia tour of South Africa in October 2016. Batting first in that match, SA scored 327/8. Tremain emerged Australia’s best bowler after Joe Mennie who took 3 for 49. Tremain returned figures of 3 for 64, accounting for the scalps of Rilee Rossouw, David Miller and Kyle Abbott. It was a creditable performance, particularly as Rossouw scored a ton and but for his dismissal, SA would have probably scored 20-30 runs more. Chasing a daunting target, Australia were bowled out for 296, making the home side winners by 31 runs. Curiously, Tremain was not selected again to play for Australia.
