Born on 11 July 1990, Fazal Rahman Rahmani is an Afghan cricketer known as Fazal Niazai. He is a right-handed batsman and bowls right-arm medium. He has so far played for Afghanistan, Afghan Cheetahs, Afghanistan A, Boost Defenders, Mis Ainak Region, Nangarhar Leopards and Paktia Province.

Niazai made his T20 debut for Afghan Cheetahs against Faisalabad Wolves on 29 September 2011 in the National T20 League. He scored 3 runs on 7 balls in a losing cause. He played his first-class match against Kenya in the ICC Intercontinental Cup. He scored 29 runs and took a wicket to help Afghanistan win by 8 wickets. He has played 24 first-class matches since then, scoring 1424 runs at an average of 45.93 and has 4 centuries and 4 half-centuries. He has taken 50 wickets at an average of 33.74 and an economy of 3.78, including his career-best figures of 5 wickets for 44 runs. In his last first-class game, he scored 132 runs in the 1st innings for MIS Ainak. He also has 18 List A wickets taken in 15 games.

He made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe in Chattogram on 20 September 2019. He scored 12 runs in his only T2OI and went wicketless for 13 runs in one over he bowled. Afghanistan lost the game by 7 wickets.

Currently, he plays for MIS Ainak Knights in Shpageeza Cricket League (SCL).
