Just 25 years of age, Hashmatullah Shahidi has already established himself as a premier top-order batsman prospect in the Afghanistan cricket team in Tests and ODIs. He has not had an opportunity to make an impression in T20I’s having played just one match against Kenya at Sharjah in September 2013. Given his young age, Shahidi promises to be a marquee name in matches featuring Afghanistan in the years to come.
