After showing his skills in the domestic season where took more than 50 wickets in 17 games at a healthy average of close to 25, Keon got selected as one of eleven reserve players in the West Indies squad in 2020 for their series against England. Keon was all set to make a debut but unfortunately, he has not made his Test debut for the team because of the pandemic.
After a lot of effort put to represent the West Indies’ team at the international level, Keon Harding, a 25-year-old fast bowler, was included in the West Indies ODI squad in January 2021 for their series against Bangladesh. The absence of many key bowlers from the squad due to the pandemic, especially Romario Shephard, helped his cause.
In that series, he made his ODI debut for the West Indies. He did not quite star in that match and remained the costliest bowler. He conceded 88 runs in his spell of 10 overs without a single wicket. It was the third and the last ODI of the series that the West Indies eventually lost 3-0. The match itself was lost to Bangladesh by 120 runs.
Keon Harding has not made his T20I debut for the West Indies yet.
