Nasum Ahmed, a Bangladeshi cricketer, was born on 5 December 1994 in Bangladesh. He’s primarily a bowler who bowls spin in slow left-arm orthodox fashion. Ahmed is yet to play an international match.

Ahmed has played for Bangladesh’s Under-19 and Under-15 teams. In the Bangladesh Premier League, he started his career with the franchise Sylhet Thunder and currently, he is signed by Chattogram Challengers. He has also represented Beximco Dhaka and Sylhet Division teams.
Nasum Ahmed appeared in the news in December 2020 when Mushfiqur Rahim, his Beximco Dhaka teammate, misbehaved with him on the field in an eliminator or the Bangabandhu T20 Cup. Mushfiqur was fined 25% of the match fees.
As Nasum Ahmed has not made his debut for the Bangladesh Test side.
Nasum Ahmed has not made his debut in ODIs for Bangladesh. Looking at his promising performance in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup, Bangladesh Cricket Board included him in the 24-member squad for the three-match ODI series against West Indies at home. However, he did not get a game in that series.
Nasum Ahmed has not made his debut in Twenty-20 Internationals for Bangladesh. He came close to making a debut in March last year. He was named in the T20 squad for the two-T20I series against Zimbabwe, but he missed a berth in the playing XI.

His maiden first-class match was on 13 April 2011, playing for Sylhet Division in the National Cricket League. Nasum debuted in T20 in April 2013 when his side Sylhet Division played against Rajshahi Division.
