A naturally aggressive batsman, Parvez loves power-hitting. His high back-lift and a smooth bat swing allow him to generate the power and clear the ropes. He joined BKSP, Bangladesh’s sports institute, in 2013 and took part in the national Under-18 competition, in which he played an innings of 86 and 90 runs to get a call-up to the Under-19 side.

Bangladesh’s young batting sensation Parvez Hossain Emon created history when he scored a century off just 42 balls playing for Fortune Barishal in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup. He broke Tamim Iqbal’s record (100 from 50 balls) and became the quickest T20 centurion for Bangladesh in T20s.
In the Under-19 World Cup 2020 held in South Africa, Parvez helped the side to win their maiden Under-19 trophy by scoring 47 runs off 79 balls. He was retired hurt on 25 runs but made a heroic comeback and added vital runs.
In 10 List A matches played, he has scored 198 runs, including one half-century, with 69 being his highest score. In 10 T20s, he has amassed 233 runs, 1 half-century and 1 century.
