Qais Ahmad Kamawal, more often known as Qais, is another young Afghan cricketer. He is 20 years old and was born in Nangarhar, Afghanistan. In the team, he plays the role of a leg-break bowler. Having come into the limelight in the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia, Qais has been famously known for his unique acrobatic celebration: doing front flips, backflips and somersault after taking a wicket. Qais Ahmad was picked in the Hobart Hurricanes in the BBL’08 edition as a replacement for Tymal Mills who got injured during the season. The young wrist-spinner was backed by outstanding performances in the leagues preceding BBL. He played for Rajshahi Royals in the Bangladesh Premier League. In the 6 games he played, he took 6 wickets for his team.
