Rahkeem played his first Test against India in Kingston in August 2019, in the 2nd Test of a series in the ICC World Test Championship. In that game, India batted first and posted a score of 416. Cornwall bowled 41 overs and took 3/105, accounting for the wickets of Pujara, Jadeja and Mohammed Shami. He also had a hand in the dismissals of Indian openers, Rahul and Agarwal, catching them off the bowling of Holder. Nevertheless, India went on to win the match by 257 runs. In November 2019, Afghanistan and the West indies met in Lucknow, India, in the only Test of a series. Batting first, Afghanistan were bowled out for 187 in their first innings. Cornwall took 7/75 in 25.3 overs, accounting for the scalps of Ibrahim Zadran, Ihsanullah, Rahmat Shah, Asghar Afghan, Nasir Jamal, Afsar Zazai and Yamin Ahmadzai. After they had restricted the West Indies to 277 in reply, Afghanistan were bowled out for 120 in their second outing. This time around, Cornwall took 3/46, aggregating a round tally of 10 wickets for 121 for the match. His wickets included those of Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah and Asghar Afghan. He also took catches to help dismiss Javed Ahmadi and Amir Hamza. The West Indies polished off the required 31 runs to win in 6.1 overs with 9 second-innings wickets intact. His brilliant performance had Cornwall named the Player of the Match. In his last appearance in a Test match, in the third game of a series held in Manchester on the West Indies tour of England, Cornwall took none for 85 as England batted first and scored 369 in their first outing, though Cornwall took catches to help dismiss RJ Burns and JM Anderson. England went on to win the match by 269 runs after the guests had suffered batting collapses in both their innings to be bowled out for 197 and 129.
