ODI Career

Reeza has scored 507 runs in 21 matches at 26.68. He has also taken one wicket at 47.00. He played his first ODI against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on 5 August 2018. It was the 3rd match of a series on South Africa’s tour of Sri Lanka in which the tourists batted first. Batting at number 3, Hendricks scored 102 off 89 balls with 8 fours and a six and shared an opening stand of 42 with De Kock, a 2nd-wicket stand of 59 with Amla, a 3rd-wicket stand of 36 with Faf du Plessis and a 4th-wicket stand of 78 with Duminy to help South Africa to a score of 363/7. In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 285, handing South Africa a 78-run win.

T20I Career

Reeza has scored 607 in 23 T20Is at an average of 26.39. He played his first T20I against Australia in Adelaide in November 2014. Hendricks registered his highest T20I score against Pakistan n Cape Town in the 1st match of a series on Pakistan’s tour of South Africa on 1 February 2019. In that game, the hosts batted first. Opening the innings, Reeza scored 74 off 41 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes and shared a 2nd-wicket stand of 131 with Faf du Plessis to help South Africa reach a score of 192/6. In reply, Pakistan were restricted to 189/6 in a thrilling finish. In his brief career, Hendricks has played several other match-winning innings including knocks of 65 and 66 against Sri Lanka at Centurion and Johannesburg in March 2018. He last appeared in a T20I against Australia in Port Elizabeth.
