Sajid was born on 3 September 1993 in North-West Frontier Province and plays for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In October 2016, he made his first-class debut for Peshawar in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, while his List A debut came on 20 January 2017 for Peshawar in the 2016–17 Regional One Day Cup. In December 2018, he made his T20 debut in the 2018–19 National T20 Cup for Peshawar.

Biography

The year 2021 has brought good news for the cricketer. Sajid was named the best bowler of the 2020–21 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in January 2021. Then, he was also included in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s squad for the 2020–21 Pakistan Cup. In the same month, he also got a call-up to the national side for the Test series against Africa.

Sajid was one of the 8 uncapped players named by Pakistan selectors for the Test series against South Africa (starting January 2021). However, he is yet to play a match.
