Warrier made his first-class debut in the 2012-13 Ranji season and was very impressive. He returned with 24 scalps from five games at an average of 19.20 in his maiden Ranji Trophy edition. His List A and T20 debuts followed in the same season.

After putting in consistent performances in domestic cricket, Warrier was picked up as a replacement by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ahead of the 2019 edition of the IPL. He has been with them since then. The Kerala fast bowler has played five IPL games in three seasons.

In 2021, Warrier has constantly been picked as one of the net bowlers for India. During India’s tour of Sri Lanka, he was drafted into the main squad after a slew of positive COVID cases in the Indian camp and he made his T20I debut in the third game of the series.

International Cricket

Warrier made his international debut in a T20I against Sri Lanka earlier this year. He bowled three overs and conceded 23 runs without picking up a wicket.

IPL Career

Warrier has been with KKR for three seasons now but he has played just five games, three in 2019 and one each in 2020 and 2021. The Thrissur-born pacer has taken two wickets at an economy rate of 7.88.
