Suryakumar Yadav is one of the late bloomers in Indian cricket. The Mumbai-born batsman has been around for well more than a decade. It was back in the 2009-10 domestic season that he made his List ‘A’ and T20 debuts. In 2010-11, he made his first-class debut in a Ranji Trophy game for Mumbai against Delhi and he smashed 73 in his maiden innings. From that time, Suryakumar has been an integral part of the Mumbai domestic setup across formats and he has been fairly consistent as well.
