Test Career

Temba Bavuma has scored 1845 runs in 40 matches at an average of 30.75 with the highest score of 102 not out. He played his first Test against the West Indies in Port Elizabeth in December 2014. In March 2018, in the 4th match of a series on the Australia tour of South Africa, in which the hosts batted first, Bavuma scored an unbeaten 95, batting at number 6, to help South Africa to a score of 488. In reply, Australia were bowled out for 221. Choosing to bat again, South Africa set Australia a winning target of 612 before bowling them out for 119. Temba Bavuma registered his highest score of 102 not out came in a drawn game against England in Cape Town in January 2016. He last appeared in a Test against England in Johannesburg in January 2020.

ODI Career

Temba Bavuma has scored 335 runs in 6 ODI matches at 55.83. He played his first match against Ireland in Benoni on 25 September 2016. In that game, South Africa batted first. Opening the innings, Bavuma scored 113 to help South Africa to a score of 354/5. In reply, Ireland were bowled out for 148. IN Cape Town on 4 February 2020, England batted first and posted 258/8.
