Test Career

Mazakadza played his only Test against Bangladesh in Sylhet in November 2018. Zimbabwe batted first to score 281 before bowling out Bangladesh for 143 to get a handy lead. Chasing 321 to win in the last innings, the hosts were bowled out for 169, a collapse in which Mazakadza took 2/33.

ODI Career

Wellington has taken 21 wickets in 17 ODIs at 34.95. In his debut against Ireland in Harare on 9 October 2015, Mazakadza took 2/45, helping to restrict the tourists to 219/8 and paving the way for a 2-wicket win. On 16 October 2015 in Bulawayo, Mazakadza’s best ODI figures of 4/21 helped to bowl out Afghanistan for 122 and ensure an 8-wicket win for Zimbabwe. Mazakadza last played an ODI on 26 October 2018 against Bangladesh in Chattogram.

T20I Career

Wellington has played 12 T20Is and taken 12 wickets at 26.00. He debuted against Afghanistan in Bulawayo in October 2015. On 10 March 2016, Zimbabwe scored 147/7 in a World T20I against Scotland in Nagpur before Mazakadza’s best figures ODI of 4/28 helped restrict the Scots to 136. His last appearance was made against Singapore in October 2019.
