David Delany (born 28 December 1997) is an Irish right-arm medium-fast bowler who bats left-handed. His T20 debut was in June 2017 in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Trophy for Munster Reds. Delany played his maiden first-class match for Leinster Lightning in September 2017 in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Championship. He also played his first List A match for Leinster Lightning in September 2017 in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Cup.

Later, in August 2018, Delany was picked in the Ireland squad to participate in limited-overs matches against Afghanistan but was not selected in the final XI. In September 2019, he played his first T20I game for Ireland against Scotland. Next, Delany was chosen in the Ireland squad for the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers held in 2019 in the UAE. During the competition, he delivered the fastest ball ever bowled by an Irish bowler which was recorded at 148 kph or 92 mph.
