Harry Tector (born 6 December 1999) is an Irish cricketer who bats in the middle order. He played for Ireland in the 2016 Under-19 World Cup. Tector made his international debut in September 2019. In January 2020, he was awarded a full-time central contract by Cricket Ireland.

International Career

Tector was the skipper of the Ireland team in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup. He bagged the most wickets for his nation with 8 scalps in the competition and was named a rising star of the team by the ICC. In November 2018, Cricket Ireland named Tector the Male Academy Player of the Year.

Tector was being regularly picked in Irish squads for different tournaments in 2019 and 2020. Before the 2019 T20 World Cup Qualifiers in the UAE, the ICC named him the cricketer to watch in the Ireland team. Tector’s ODI debut was versus England in July 2020.
