Overall Career

Philip Salt made his debut for the Sussex team in the 2015 Royal London ODI Cup and went on to make his T20 debut in the T20 Blast 2016 season. He has been a key member of his team ever since. He has played 38 first-class matches, 16 List A and 70 T20 matches so far. He has scored 4066 runs with 5 centuries and 24 fifties across three formats.

Philip Salt has never played for England despite making it to the squad more than once. He first joined the England squad in May 2019 in a one-off T20I match against Pakistan. He later went on to play for England Lions in an invitational match against Ireland and scored a century in a One-Day match. He was also included in the reserve player list in the Australia ODI series in September 2019 and missed a few T20 Blast matches.
