Peter Chase is one of the brightest fast bowlers of the Ireland team. He bowls right-arm medium and bats right-handed lower down the order. In 2020, he was one of the nineteen players to sign a full-time central contract by Cricket Ireland. He has represented Ireland in ODI and T20I formats. During his career, he has played for Durham and Nottinghamshire County clubs in England.

Peter Chase was born on 9 October 1993, in Dublin, Ireland. Peter represented Ireland in Under 19s and his famous coach Alun Brophy praised the young talent and regarded him as a future bowler of the Ireland national cricket team. He made his ODI debut in 2015 against UAE but the match was interrupted by rain right after a toss. Peter had to wait for one more year to join the playing XI in July 2016 in a match against Afghanistan.
After that, in 2018, Peter Chase made his T20I debut against Scotland. In total, he has taken a combined number of 49 wickets in 37 limited-overs matches for Ireland. One might say that Chase will have to bowl more consistently to find a permanent place in the playing XI of the Ireland team. When it comes to Tests, he is yet to make his debut this format.
