Batting first, Thunders posted a daunting 261/3 on the back of a brilliant 167 off just 61 balls, including 15 fours and 14 sixes, by opener Ameya Soman. He was involved in a 161-run partnership for the 1st wicket with Banty Nandy (55 off 38 balls). When CD batted, they were bowled out for 103 in 15.4 overs, handing Thunders a 158-run win. among Thunders’ bowlers, Mohit Goraniya, Hardik Patel, and Jatin Patel took three wickets each. For CD, Amit Variya and Vikesh Desai were joint top scorers with 25 each but the rest of the batsmen did not show much intent.

Analysis
