India vs New Zealand Final Is Most Watched Across All Series in WTC
With a worldwide audience of 177 million, the WTC final between India and New Zealand in Southampton in June was the most-watched among all the series comprising the inaugural World Test Championship, according to a statement by the ICC.

Live Viewership of 133 Million
The Test match that took place between June 18 and 23 attracted the highest live viewership totalling nearly 131 million in 89 territories. Most viewers for the tightly contested game that New Zealand won by eight wickets were from India with nearly 95% accounted for by national broadcaster Doordarshan and Star Sports. Star Sports not only had an English-language broadcast of the match that went into the reserve day but also had feeds in local languages such as Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

An additional 70 million individuals viewed the match on Instagram. The total video views went up to 515 million thanks to contributions from the ICC channels on YouTube and Twitter along with the ICC’s website and mobile app.
