Sussex’s skipper Luke Wright walks into our dream11 for his batting proficiency that he advertised with 75 from 44 balls versus Essex on 15 June.
Sussex’s Ravi Bopara and Will Beer are the allrounders in our dream11. Bopara advertised his batting skills versus Hampshire on 12 June when he scored 56 off 42 balls. Both Bopara and Beer chipped in with the ball to restrict Essex to 128/8 on June 15. Benny Howell can bat and bowl as he proved against Glamorgan on 10 June when he scored 30 off 15 balls and took 3/39.
Sussex’s Garton is our first-choice bowler. Garton gave evidence of his bowling skills grabbing 3/31 versus Essex on 15 June. Garton can also bat a bit as he proved with his 46 from 22 balls versus Gloucestershire on 11 June. In that game, Garton took 3/19. David Wiese who took 1/46 in the same match has also performed consistently with the ball this season. Gloucestershire bowlers Josh Shaw and Van Buuren complete our bowling line up. While Shaw took 3/32 in the previous game against Sussex on 11 June, Van Buuren chipped in with 1/15. Van Buuren also proved he can bat, scoring 21, including 2 sixes.
