Dream11 Fantasy Team for 3rd T20

Wicketkeepers

Buttler is our first-choice wicketkeeper. In his last 9 matches before this series, he had made 345 runs at 57.50, with a strike rate of 144.95. Bairstow had scored 262 runs at 52.4 in his previous 8 innings. In his last 7 T20Is, Perera has made 206 runs at 34.33, with a strike rate of 134.64. Kusal Perera is one of the most accomplished players in the Sri Lanka team, which is why he has been chosen to lead the team.

Batsmen

In 7 innings before the series Gunathilaka had scored 111 runs at 18.50. Though the figures are not very impressive, Gunathilaka is one of the seniors of the Sri Lanka squad and could prove the key to their good performance. Roy’s reputation as a destructive white ball batsman precedes him. In 13 T20I innings before this series, the left-hander had scored 427 runs at 32.8, including seven 40-plus innings.  Though Livingstone has played only three T20Is, he is a destructive white ball player, and England has recognized his potential by naming him vice-captain.

Allrounders

Curran who has taken 11 wickets in 13 T20Is has yet to play against Sri Lanka. Curran has developed into a brilliant T20 cricketer as his recent performances in the Indian Premier League have shown us. Shanaka is a genuine allrounder as he has proved with innings of 31 not out against West Indies in March 2020. In the same game, he took 1/10.

Bowlers

Before this series, Jordan had taken 9 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 9.85, with a strike rate of 24.8 while Rashid had taken 10 wickets in 10 matches, with an economy rate of 6.76 and a strike rate of 23.4. Since October 2019, Udana has taken 6 wickets in 5 T20Is, before this series. Those included figures of 2/38 and 3/11 against Pakistan at Lahore. He can also bat as he proved with scores of 84 not out and 36 versus South Africa in March 2019.

Captain and Vice-captain

The captain of our Dream11 is Buttler, while the vice-captain is Sam Curran.

Dream11

Buttler, Perera, Livingstone, Roy, Gunathilaka, Curran, Shanaka, Rashid, Jordan, Udana
