Dream11 IPL 2021 Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals: Match 24, April 29
Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals Match Details
In this article, we preview Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals, match 24 of the IPL 2021 to be played in Ahmedabad on 29 April.
Team Mumbai Indians Report
MI have one of the most settled elevens in the competition and we believe that despite their failure to beat DC, the following players are likely to do duty against RR on 29 April: Sharma, De Kock, Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik, Krunal, Pollard, Jayant Yadav, R Chahar, Bumrah, Boult.
Team Rajasthan Royals Report
RR are gradually coming to terms with the absence of Ben Stokes and Archer, thanks to players such as Miller and Morris who have performed to their potential. RR are likely to field the following eleven players in the match against MI on 29 April: Buttler, Vohra, Samson, Dube, Miller, Parag, Tewatia, Morris, Unadkat, Sakariya, Rahman.
Dream11 Fantasy Team
Though Samson has had a couple of failures after a ton in his first game, he is still our first-choice keeper-batsman. De Kock, who is one of the world’s best, is an automatic choice. Ishan Kishan gets in on the strength of his batting, as does Buttler.
Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav would walk into any T20 team in the world. But with Buttler classified as a keeper, we need to pick another batsman and Miller fits the bill.
We have to restrict ourselves to just one all-rounder and our choice is Krunal. We were tempted to go for Hardik Pandya or Pollard. But Hardik has not been bowling and Pollard has been batting too low in the order to make an impact. Krunal has impressed with his bowling in every game and has struck useful runs whenever he’s got the chance.
Picking Bumrah and Boult is a no-brainer. These are two of the finest bowlers in the world and they represent MI’s greatest asset. For the third spot, we had many choices but went with Sakaria, the surprise packet of the competition.
Captain and Vice-captain
The captaincy was a toss-up between Samson and De Kock and we chose the more consistent South African star while giving the vice-captaincy of our Dream 11 to Samson. Both players provide value by scoring runs as top-order batsmen as well as by snaring victims behind the stumps.
Our Dream11 Team Prediction reads as follows: Samson (v-c), De Kock (c), Ishan Kishan, Buttler, Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Miller, Krunal, Sakaria, Boult, Bumrah.
While making our MI vs RR Dream11 prediction, we have based our choices on actual performances of players in previous games of the competition.
