Dream11 Fantasy Team Tips
For our PZ vs KK Dream11, we must pick 11 players, including 1 wicket-keeper, 4 batsmen, 2 all-rounders and 4 bowlers.
The choice of a wicket-keeper is the easiest one to make. Between Kamran Akmal and Joe Clarke, Clarke has been the more consistent batsman, with match-winning innings of 54 against Multan Sultans and 46 against Quetta Gladiators.
Two of the four batsmen select themselves. Both Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam have been scoring consistently for Karachi Kings. While Sharjeel has scored 105 against Islamabad United and 64 versus Lahore Qalandars, Babar has had fifties against IU (62), PZ (77) and MS (90). For the remaining two batsmen, we must choose among Colin Ingram, Kohler-Cadmore, Haider Ali and Imam-ul-Haq. Ali has had one substantial innings of 50 against QG. Kohler-Cadmore has scored 46 against IU and 53 against MS. Imam has scored 41 against QG and 48 against MS. Colin Ingram is yet to fire with the bat. Based on their performances so far, Kohler-Cadmore and Imam walk into our team as the third and fourth batsmen.
Of the two all-rounder spots, one goes automatically to Nabi who has had a couple of fifties against PZ and LQ while grabbing a wicket against IU and bowling overs against the other teams as well. For the other spot, we must choose between Malik and Christian. Our vote goes to Christian who has shown the ability to score useful runs down the order while grabbing wickets. While Malik has scored runs against IU, QG and LQ, he has not contributed with the ball in the PSL 2021.
For the four bowling spots, we have no hesitation in picking Saqib, Riaz and Iqbal, the most consistent wicket-takers. For the 4th spot, we must choose between Amir and Waqas. We pick Waqas who has taken more wickets.
Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi Dream11
Our Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi Dream11 Prediction is as follows: Sharjeel (v-c), Azam (c), Imam-ul-Haq, Kohler-Cadmore, Clarke (wk), Nabi, Christian, Saqib, Riaz, Iqbal, Waqas.
In selecting our Dream 11, we have considered form rather than reputation, basing our choices on actual performances in the ongoing PSL 21 season.
