Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians Match Details

In this article, we make our Dream11 team prediction for Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians, match 31 of the IPL 2021 to be played at Delhi’s Ferozeshah Kotla ground on 4 May.

Team Sunrisers Hyderabad Report

We expect SRH to stick with the eleven players who did duty in the thriller against CSK on 28 April: Warner, Bairstow, Pandey, Williamson, Jadhav, R Khan, Vijay Shankar, Suchith, Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed, S Sharma.

Team Mumbai Indians Report

MI are unlikely to make any changes to the team that took on RR on 23 April: De Kock, Sharma, Kishan, S Yadav, Pollard, H Pandya, K Pandya, J Yadav, R Chahar, Bumrah, Boult.

Dream11 Fantasy Team

Wicket-keepers

We have picked the two most in-form wicket-keeper-batsmen in SRH and MI, Bairstow and Ishaan Kishan.

Batsmen

Our choices for the batting spots in our SRH vs MI Dream 11 were the easiest. Warner and Williamson are the strongest batsmen in SRH, while Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav would walk into any T20 team in the world.

All-Rounders

For our all-rounder choices, we have considered many names, including Pollard and Hardik Pandya. We have been able to rule out Hardik for the simple reason that he has not been bowling at all and for all practical purposes cannot be categorised as an all-rounder. Kieron Pollard has not fired with the bat in the death overs, probably due to the slow wickets in Chennai where Mumbai played their initial games. We might consider Pollard later in the season but as of now, he has not found his batting rhythm. Krunal was our only choice, given his performances with the bat whenever he had the chance. In the bowling, Krunal has been very tidy, giving nothing away and creating a lot of pressure on the batsmen whenever MI were defending low totals.

Bowlers

Boult, Bumrah and Rashid Khan could walk into any T20 team in the world, no questions asked. For our 4th bowling spot, we went with R Chahar who has been the revelation of the season, with his consistent wicket-taking ways.

Captain and Vice-Captain

The captain of our dream11 is Bairstow who we expect will give us additional points with his wicket-keeping. For our vice-captaincy, we had several tempting choices, but we had to go with Rohit Sharma for his ability to score runs at will.

Our Dream 11 team prediction reads as follows: Bairstow, Ishaan Kishan, Warner, Williamson, Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Krunal Pandya, Boult, Bumrah, R Khan, R Chahar.

Summary

Our SRH vs MI Dream11 eleven consists of 7 players from MI and 4 players from SRH, reflecting the on-field form displayed by the players of both sides in the ongoing IPL.
