Warner Confirms He Participation in 2nd Leg of IPL 2021
David Warner will participate in the second leg of the IPL. The Australian opener confirmed in an Instagram post that he would be back with Sunrisers Hyderabad when the IPL resumed in September in the UAE. The post which carried a picture of Warner in a Sunrisers Hyderabad jacket carried the caption, “I’ll be back.” Most prominent cricketers from Bangladesh, West Indies, England and New Zealand have confirmed over the past few weeks that they would be available for the lucrative T20 league. The second leg of the IPL will begin when Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings clash on 19 September.

Dropped from Playing XI for the First Time in IPL 2021

In six previous seasons, he has won the Orange Cap (awarded to the highest run maker in a season) on three occasions, in 2015, 2017 and 2019. In 2016, he was second only to Virat Kohli in the number of runs made.
